Harris Tweed Cloth
The Harris Tweed collection is woven in the Outer Hebrides islands of Lewis and Harris, off the western coast of Scotland, where Harris tweed has been produced for many centuries. To meet demand in modern tailoring, this cloth has been developed in new lighter weights. All cloths in this collection conform to rigid requirements in order to pass the inspection of the Harris tweed authority which authenticates each piece with the woven orb labels that accompany each cut length.
Which means it must be:
- made from pure new wool
- hand woven in the weaver's home
- finished in the Outer Hebrides
